first i have an important tip for you guys

DO NOT KEEP YOUR IPSW firmware files in one folder because if you click on 1.1.3 instead of 1.1.2 ur iphone will not recover till 1.1.4

if you was on 1.1.3 and then experienced some issue and want to goback to 1.1.1 and do whole process again you may lost ur backup in this step

when you downgraded to 1.1.1 and OKtoPrep installed now it’s time to update to 1.1.2 but itunes want to choose ur last backup but your latest bnackup taken on 1.1.3 and iTunes give you an error. do not setup as new iphone JUST hold power and home button while your iphone boots in DFU mode then use iBricker 0.91 to boot ur iphone again

open itunes again now you are able to press shift+update

Well, the iPhone Dev Team has done it again. A working jailbreak for 1.1.3 is finally here.
STATEMENT OF RISK
As all upgrades are risky, this one is doubly so. You may have to restore your phone using iTunes and start again if it fails. Make sure to back up first!
Let’s continue
This jailbreak, like the 1.1.2 jailbreak, comes as an upgrade. This means you need to have a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken phone already, before you can begin.
Update – unlocked phones appear to remain unlocked and work properly after the update, according to scattered reports.
MAC VERSION – Download the 1.1.3 package maker and open it, then run Run_This. Read carefully, press Enter when necessary, and the image will be uploaded to your phone.
Here’s how you do it:
- Start with a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken phone with Installer.app installed.
- Plug in your phone via USB to your computer.
- Download, extract, and run iBrickr Special 1.1.3 jailbreak edition (ibrickr.exe in the archive).
- iBrickr will determine what firmware you are running on your phone and make sure you can run the update.
- iBrickr will then guide you through the process of obtaining and modifying the 1.1.3 firmware (make sure to read everything thoroughly).
- iBrickr will upload the new firmware image to your phone. Note that this only puts the file on your phone and does not modify it at all, yet.
- When iBrickr finishes (should take about 10 minutes), it will tell you to go to Installer and install the “1.1.3 soft upgrade” package. Do that.
- When the installer finishes (this should take another 10-15 minutes), your phone should reboot with a fresh activated 1.1.3 firmware.

Now you may be wondering how this jailbreak works. Here’s a breakdown:
- iBrickr grabs the 1.1.3 iPhone firmware image and extracts, decrypts, and decompresses the disk image.
- Then it applies a patch, jailbreaking the disk image and activating it, and also installing Installer.app.
- It uploads this new modified image to the phone, as 113_upgrade_image.bin.
- The “1.1.3 soft upgrade” app flashes the phone with the image and reboots.
- You have a perfect, jailbroken, upgraded 1.1.3 phone, with all your settings and music intact!
Regarding the drama about this release – there is identifying information in the patches, that contains pieces of the firmware as markers for what changes should be made to it. None of it is in any sort of useful form until it is merged again with a real 1.1.3 firmware image, which is downloaded directly from Apple.

Downgrade iPhone Firmware 1.1.1 to 1.0.2

this tutorial recently viewed alot,hey folks you don’t need to downgrade to 1.0.2 anymore while 1.1.1 completely unlocked it means this tutorial out-dated

These methods will not downgrade your baseband or reunlock your phone. A reunlock is in development and will be made available as soon we can, together with a method to reset your nck attempts, please stand by and watch the forums for further information. And again, DON’T upgrade to 1.1.1 if you are still on 1.0.2. Do all that at your own risk.

You can downgrade the iPhone firmware from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 using any of the three methods below; however, there are no known methods for reflashing the baseband firmware back to 03.14.08_G like it should be for 1.0.2. However, 1.1.1 iPhones that were previously unlocked at 1.0.2 with methods that fake the bb firmware version will have their firmware version remaining at 03.14.08_G. You cannot simply reflash the baseband to a downgraded version using bbupdate or erase the baseband like iUnlock does either, because there is a version check somewhere, probably the baseband bootloader, that prevents you from downgrading the baseband. Some have even hex edited the FLS file to bump the version and it still does not pass validation.

However, the hacked bbupdater used by the free SIM unlock writes to areas that the stock bbupdater doesn’t. So it won’t “undo” those particular changes. So far, a patched bbupdater remains the best hope. Continue reading →

OK I have seen so many questions still circulating regarding how to get the TurboSIM method working. I am going to try and illustrate the simplest method.
WARNING: If you are non-technical, confused as to how to use or install application on computers without an installer or are unfamilliar with terms such as ssh, scp or chmod then you probably should NOT be attempting to use the TurboSIM method anyway.
Seriously, you can waste a lot of money if you get this wrong.
1. Get an iPhone. Try an applestore, or even ebay.
2. Once you get it, make sure you read the manual.
3. At the top of the phone is the SIM card tray, in there is your AT&T sim. Go on, have a look. Now put it back.
4. Use one of the many, many well documented methods to activate your phone. Any of them will be fine, and if you can get to this part then you can probably continue.
5. Order a TurboSIM (Blank version) from www.bladox.com
6. Wait.
7. Wait.
8. If you ordered via an express shipping method you can skip to step 11
9. wait
10. wait a bit more
11. You could have done this step while you were waiting, but install SSH. Use these instructions http://cre.ations.net/blog/post/howt…on-your-iphone (in the comments there is a mac version of the SSH installer)

12. Once you have done that and are able to ssh into your phone over wireless (if you dont know how already then I suggest you give up now. cancel your order with bladox.)
Hint 1: Find your iPhone IP address under: Settings ->WiFi -> <YourWirelessNetwork> -> blue arrowy thing
Hint 2: Either using Putty (for windows) or ssh (for mac from the terminal) use that IP address to connect to the iPhone. E.g: ssh -l root 123.123.123.123
The root password is dottie. I suggest you change it unless you want someone like me to totally take the shine off your afternoon.
13. download the iPhone port of the bladox utilities: http://www.gofilego.com/?fileid=71ae…3da7541ee37ae8
Extract these files and in there somewhere you will see a little file called “turbo-app” copy this to your iPhone using scp for instance:
scp turbo-app root@123.123.123.123:/
Download this: http://www.bladox.com/pub/applesaft-0.92.tar.gz
in the “bin” directory copy applesaft.trb to the iphone:
scp applesaft.trb root@123.123.123.123:/
14. copy the follwing file from the iPhone /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
and add the following line:
<key>Disabled</key><true/>
after these lines, already present in the file
<key>OnDemand</key>
<false/>
Now copy the file back. Yes, to the same location you got it from.
14. now you will have to reboot your iPhone. (Told you to read the manual) You can do this by pressing the power button for a few seconds until it asks you if you want to switch it off, or you can just take out the battery….
15. Now, get your AT&T sim and carefully cut it as indicated in the packet that the TurboSIM came in.
16. Do the same for the SIM you want to be using eventually in the iPhone.
17. CAREFULLY, VERY CAREFULLY. place the AT&T sim along with the TurboSIM into the sim tray and pop it into the iPhone.
It should slide in without too much effort, DO NOT FORCE IT IN. BE CAREFUL.
18. Now ssh into your phone and do the following (yes include the slashes):
chmod 755 /turbo-app
/turbo-app /applesaft.trb
This will take several seconds to run just be patient.
19. Go to Settings -> Phone -> SIM Applications -> Apple Saft and then click SET.
20. Eject the sim tray CAREFULLY.
21. CAREFULLY, REALLLY EFFING CAREFULLY, put the TurboSIM and your target SIM into the iPhone.
22. Remember that file I told you to edit? Right edit it again and take out that line I told you to put in, then copy it back to the iPhone.
23. Do 14. Again.
24. Fingers crossed it should be working now.
25. Go to Settings -> General -> Network -> EDGE and change your details according to your operators instructions.
26. Thank everyone who has put time and effort into this, including Ozbimmer, ZF, the bladox developers. Yadda yadda.
